EXPLORING
THE PATHWAY
WITH OTHERS
Anyone
can become proficient in developing their intuition. Many have
taken what they've learned and gone further by sharing / exploring
with others. Here are Some Guidelines for Facilitators of The
Psychic Pathway Groups:
PREPARE
FOR THE JOURNEY
Agree
to gather weekly for approximately 2 hours for the entire twelve
week journey. As the facilitator, ask each member of the group
to read the introduction to THE PSYCHIC PATHWAY, before gathering
at the first meeting. Also ask them to bring a small pocket sized
notebook to use as their psychic journal.
BECOME MORE AWARE
Meditating
and keeping a journal, as well as charting your progress week-to-week
are required of everyone, including the facilitator.
SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCES
Do
the explorations during the week and record your experiences in
your psychic journal. Do all written exercises during the group
gathering, sharing the answers in small groups. Work on only one
chapter per week.
QUIET YOUR MIND
Start
each gathering with an energy check-in, asking everyone to notice
the energy in the room. Follow the check-in with a 15 minute meditation,
led by someone in the group. It is helpful to take turns leading
the meditation. (Meditation tapes by Patrick Tully and Sonia Choquette
are available as well).
LET YOURSELF PLAY
THE
PSYCHIC PATHWAY is the pathway of the child. the key to success
is to create an atmosphere of play. Psychic games such as "I
wonder" should be the main focus of every gathering.
AVOID THE EGO
THE
PSYCHIC PATHWAY is the pathway of exploration. It is not a test.
When you experience your authentic voice, celebrate yourself enthusiastically.
If you have disappointments say, "Oh well " Instead
of, "Oh no."
BE FLEXIBLE
Realize
even the best of intentions get tested. There is a possibility
your group may wither before the end. Consciousness awakens responsibilities
to the self which some may not be willing to accept. The best
way to maintain the enthusiasm of the group is to avoid setting
a tone which is too serious.
BE INVENTIVE
Create
an atmosphere of support but encourage self-reliance. Ask the
group members to invent psychic explorations of their own to share
with others.
ASK FOR HELP
Trust
your soul as it guides you. Every group that gathers agrees to
meet on a soul level first. Recognize these people as members
of your spiritual family and trust your time together will unfold
successfully.
LOOK FOR THE TRUTH
Please
avoid intellectualizing or judging the group from the perspective
of appearances. No matter how one appears we are all one body,
one light. Look for our essential similarity, rather than becoming
distracted by differences. And remember every group has a tester.
Bless this person. He or she will make you a better facilitator
and an even better psychic.
